Pizza Slices

Materials Needed:

Several large paper plates
Crayons or markers
Construction paper (for toppings)
Glue
Scissors
Clean pizza box

What to Do:

Color paper plates so they resemble cheese pizzas.
Cut toppings for pizza out of the construction paper (e.g. peppers, pepperonis, black olives, etc...)
Glue toppings onto pizzas (one topping per pizza).
Cut each pizza in sixths.
Mix the pieces up and place them in a clean pizza box.
Instruct the children to reassemble the pizzas, so all pieces in each pie have the same topping.
Invite them to count the pieces.
