Greeting Card Puzzles

Greeting Card Puzzles

Materials Needed:
Image1 Several greeting cards
Image1 Scissors
Image1 Resealable plastic bags (1 for each greeting card you use)
Image1 Permanent marker
Image1 Crayon

What to Do:
Image1 Cut each greeting card into puzzle pieces (make sure size of pieces are appropriate for child's age and ability).
Image1 Using the crayon, write the same number on the back of each piece for each greeting card. For example, after cutting up the first greeting card, write the number "1" on the back of each piece, on the second greeting card write the number "2" on each piece. This will help in sorting them back into the right storage bags if the children mix them up.
Image1 After cutting up a greeting card and numbering the backs of the pieces, place the pieces in a resealable bag and using a permanent marker, write the puzzle number on the outside of the bag.
Image1 Invite the children to take turns putting the puzzles together.
