Airplane

Airplane

Materials Needed:

Blue construction paper
White cotton balls
Red foam sheet
Black marker
Glue

Template

What to Do:

Using template, trace and cut out:

- Airplane body on red foam sheet.
- Airplane wing on red foam sheet.

Cut horizontal slit approximately 1 inch in length in the area you would like the wing to go.
Instruct children to:

- Use a black marker to draw windows and a door onto the plane's body.
- Glue plane body to blue construction paper, making sure to glue only around edges. Leave center portion near wing unglued so they can easily slide wing into slit. (They may glue tail end down completely.)
- Glue "clouds" onto blue paper using stretched cotton balls.
- Slide flat (slanted) edge part of wing into the slit on the plane's body.
