Jack-in-the-Beanstalk Magic Beans

Materials Needed:

Construction Paper (blue and green)
Brown marker or crayon
Yarn (brown or green)
White cotton balls
Navy beans
Glue

Template

What to Do:

Using template, trace and cut leaves onto green construction paper.
Cut two pieces of brown or green yarn approximately 20 inches in length.
Squeeze a thin line of glue, curving it back and forth a little, from one end of the blue paper to the other end.
Instruct children to:

                    - Press yarn down on glue. This forms thier "vine".
                    - Glue a row of navy beans along the bottom edge of the paper.
                    - Glue cotton balls to the top edge of the paper, forming "clouds".
                    - Glue leaves, staggered on each of the sides of vines.
                    - Draw veins on leaves using brown marker or crayon.
