Ramp Racing

Materials Needed:
6 Wooden blocks (six inch block, three inch block, two inch block and 3 long thin ramp blocks)
Small cars (at least three)
Tape (masking or duct)

What to Do:
Tape one of each of the different size blocks to a ramp block.
Line up the ramps and have three of the children roll a car down each of the ramps simultaneously.
Ask the children which ramp seemed to help the car roll fastest and why.
Let all the children who are interested, have a turn at rolling a car down a ramp.
