Pairing Hearts

Materials Needed:

Red and/or pink construction paper
Marker
Scissors
Heart template
2 Baskets

What To Do:

Using the template, trace 52 hearts onto the construction paper and cut them out.
Using the marker, write one of each of the letters of the alphabet in lowercase on 26 of the hearts and in uppercase on the other 26 hearts.
Place the uppercase lettered hearts in one basket and the lowercase lettered hearts in the other basket.
Place the baskets in the language center.
Have the children take turns pairing the capital letter hearts with their lowercase partners.
