Vehicle Guessing Game

Materials Needed:
Business size envelopes (at least ten)
Unlined index cards
Pictures of vehicles (smaller than the index cards)
Pen
Glue

What to Do:
Cut out at least ten pictures of different kinds of vehicles.
Glue each picture to a separate index card.
Slide each index card into a separate envelope.
On the outside front of the envelope, write at least four descriptive sentences about the vehicle inside the envelope. Make sure not to use the name of the vehicle in any of the sentences.
Place all the envelopes together in a basket and then pick one at a time, read the sentences to the children, and have them guess which vehicle it is.
After everyone has finished with their guesses, pull out the card with a picture of the vehicle and show the children. Continue with the other envelopes and vehicles.
