Leaf Rubbings

 Materials Needed:

Leaves
Computer paper or light construction paper
Crayons/pencils

What to Do:

Go on a nature walk and gather up some leaves to use for your "Leaf Rubbings" project.
Have the children pick out which leaves they want to use for their rubbings.
Place a sheet of computer/copy paper or lightweight construction paper over the leaves.
Instruct the children to use a crayon or pencil to rub the paper until they have the design they want. Show the children how a wrapper free crayon held sideways while rubbing works easier.
