Silly Scarf Game

Materials Needed:

A brightly colored scarf

What to Do:

Have children sit or stand in a circle
Explain to children how different people have different kinds of laughs. Some laugh loud, some soft. Some laugh like they're laughing through their nose, some are giggly, etc...
Tell them when you toss the scarf in the air, you want them to laugh as loud, soft, or silly as they want and to continue until the scarf lands on the ground. Once the scarf has landed on the ground, they're to all be very quiet.
Continue taking turns tossing the scarf in the air and laughing for as long as time permits or the interest of the children lasts.
