Weighing Doggy Biscuits

Materials Needed:
Dog biscuits (a variety of colors and sizes)
Dog bowls (2 bowls if sorting by weight only, 3 or 4 bowls if sorting by color)
Food scale
Container to hold dog biscuits

What to Do:
Place the scale, dog bowls, and container filled with dog biscuits, in the Math Center.
Invite the children to take turns weighing the biscuits, and placing the heavier ones in one bowl, and the lighter ones in another bowl.
They may also want to sort them according to their color.
