Matching Shadows

Materials Needed:

Poster board
Black marker
Theme-related objects to trace
Container

What to Do:

Trace theme-related objects onto the poster board.
After tracing the objects, place them into a container.
Place the poster board and container holding the objects into the Math Center.
Have the children take turns taking objects out of the container and placing them onto their matching poster board shadows.
To make this project a little more challenging, take one or more items out of the container and ask the children to guess which item(s) is/are missing.
