Land, Water, or Sky?

Materials Needed:
Poster boards (2 blue and 1 green)
 Markers
Several toy vehicles that fall into the three categories of land, water, and air/sky (e.g. boats, submarines, ships, trucks, cars, trains, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, helicopters, hot air balloons, rocket ships)

What to Do:
Decorate each of the poster boards by writing the words "Sky" on one, "Water" on another, and Land on the third one. You may also want to add things like waves to the water one; birds, clouds, and sunshine to the sky one; and grass, trees, and roads to the land one.
Place the poster boards and the toy vehicles into the Math Center.
Instruct the children to place all the vehicles onto the poster board to which they think it belongs.
