Bean and Seed Pendant

Materials Needed:

A Variety of beans and seeds (also red lentils)
Yarn
Cardboard/tagboard
Glue
Paper clips

Template

What to Do:

Using template, trace onto cardboard/tagboard and cut out.
Instruct children to:

- Glue paper clip to cardboard circle, by laying it flat against cardboard so that half of paper clip is sticking out.
- Turn circle over so paper clip is on back.
- Glue seeds/lentils/ beans to the front side of circle so that the entire surface of circle is covered.
- Cut a piece of yarn long enough to go around their neck, with plenty of room to spare.
- Lace yarn through paper clip, and tie ends together to make a necklace/pendant. (Depending on child's ability, adult may have tie it.)
