Materials Needed: Large glass jar Water Oil Food coloring
What to Do: Pour water into a glass jar until it is about ¾ full. Pour oil on top of the water until the jar is almost full. Squeeze a few drops of different colors of food coloring on top of the oil. Invite the children to observe what happens.
*You may want to let the children try this project themselves using small jars.
