My Very Own Constellation Materials Needed: Black construction paper (one piece per child) Unsharpened pencils with eraser tops Exacto knife (For Adult use only.) Glow in the dark paint (available at most department stores and craft stores) Pictures or books of different constellations What to Do: Using Exacto knife, cut eraser tops into star shapes. Don't worry about them being perfectly shaped. (This step should only be done by an adult.) Invite the children to take turns making their constellation pictures by putting their eraser top into the glow-in-the-dark paint and stamping their black paper with it. Encourage them to name their constellation after they are finished. |
