I’m Looking Over a Four-Leaf Clover

I'm Looking Over a Four-Leaf Clover

Materials Needed:

Tape or CD player
Shamrock template
Four-leaf clover template
Green construction paper
Scissors
Laminating materials
Pencil (for tracing templates)
Tape or CD (I'm looking over a four-leaf clover would be a good one)

What To Do:

Make a copy of the shamrock template and the four-leaf clover template and cut them out.
Trace the templates onto cardboard and cut out. This will make a studier template.
Using the cardboard templates, trace one four-leaf clover onto green construction paper. Trace shamrocks onto green construction paper. You should make one less shamrock than the number of children participating in this game.
Cut out the four-leaf clover and all the shamrocks and laminate them.
Have the children sit in a circle.
Give each child a shamrock and one of the children the four-leaf clover.
Explain to the children that once the music starts they should begin to pass the shamrocks/clover around the circle. When the music stops, they are to stop passing and hold on to whatever they have in their hands.
The child who ends up holding the four-leaf clover is lucky and receives a sticker.
The winner then sits in the middle and one shamrock is removed from the game.
Continue playing until all the children have received a sticker.
