Which Community Helper Wears This?

Materials Needed:

Several different community helper dress-up outfits (e.g. police officer, doctor, firefighter, mailman)
Container to put the outfits in

What to Do:

Invite the children sit at group time.
Hold up one item from the container of outfits and ask the children if they can tell you which community helper the item belongs to. (Continue to hold up items as long as time permits, until you have shown all the items in the container, or until the children tire of this activity.)

Variation:

Invite a child to pick a specific helper.
Instruct them to remove all the articles from the container, specific to their chosen helper.
