Watch Me Grow Journal

Materials Needed:

Paper (enough for each child to have 5 sheets)
Stapler
Marker
Crayons

What to Do:

Use 5 sheets of paper for each journal.
Put paper together by placing one sheet on top of the other, and then fold them together in the middle.
Staple down on the folded side.
Write the words "My Self-Portrait Journal" By "child's name" on front cover. This step may be done by the child if they are capable of writing their letters.
Invite  each child to draw a self portrait on their cover. If possible have the children draw their cover self-portraits in September.
Every month of the school year, have the children draw another self-portrait in their book.
