Spritz Painting

Materials Needed:

Several spray bottles
Water
Food coloring or tempera paint
Tape/clothespins
Large paper

What to Do:

Fill several spray bottles (available at many department and hardware stores) with a mixture of water and food coloring or a very thin mixture of water and tempera paint. (Small spray bottles may be easier for children to use).
Using tape/clothespins, attach large paper to wall or fence.

Provide children with spray bottles. (You may want to protect wall or fence with plastic.)
Invite the children to experiment with several different colors to get different effects.
