Magnets in the Sand

Materials Needed:

Large dishpan or sand table
Sand
Different shapes and sizes of magnets (such as magnetic letters, numbers, shapes, balls, etc.)
Strong magnetic wand

What to Do:

Fill a large dishpan or sand table with sand.
Bury different shapes and sizes of magnets.
Using a strong magnetic wand, have each child search for "magnetic treasures".
