I Found a Sunken Treasure Chest

I Found a Sunken Treasure Chest

Materials Needed:

Several manila folders
Scissors
Pictures of "treasures" (i.e. enlarged pictures of money, pictures of gold coins, jewelry, favorite toys, etc.)
Glue

What To Do:

Cut manila folders into the shape of a treasure chest.
Open folder and glue one treasure picture per folder to inside of folder.
Cut 1.5 - 2 inch strips across front cover. (Make strips thicker for younger children and thinner for more advanced children.)
Close folder so strips cover treasure picture.
Number strips 1 through however many strips you have.
Ask children to pick a number and open up that strip to expose a part of the picture.
Continue doing this until someone is able to guess the treasure.
