What To Do:

Cut 55 egg shapes out of the tan felt.
Cut 10 nests shapes out of the brown felt.
Using template cut 10 hen shapes out of the white felt.
Number each of the hens with a different numeral (1 to 10). (For older children label the hens with a number word.)
Glue a different amount of eggs (1 to 10) on the top part of each nest.
Place the ten nests on a flannel board.
Invite children to take turns finding each hen's nest by matching the numeral on each hen to the nest with the same amount of eggs in it.
