Fireflies in a Jar

Materials Needed:
 Jar template
 Construction paper (black)
  Aluminum foil
  Paint (yellow or glow in the dark paint)
  Glitter (gold)
  Paint (white)

What to Do:
 Provide jar cut out or have children trace and cut jar out using template.
  Wrap a strip of aluminum foil over the top. This will be your jar lid.
 Mix glitter with yellow paint if desired.

  Invite children to stamp firefly bodies into the jar shape using their index finger tip after dipping it into the paint.
  Using white paint and index finger tip, give each body two wings.
