Children should use safety goggles when using mallets. Combine cocoa, powered sugar and creamer in a container. Invite the children to use a teaspoon to scoop out one teaspoon of peppermint and add it to their cup, then help them add ¼ cup of the cocoa mix. The teacher will then stir in ¾ cup of boiling water and put up until cooled to warm. After the cocoa has cooled, serve the Peppermint Cocoa to the children. Teacher may also want to pass out marshmallows to go with the cocoa. *Makes approximately 9 cups of cocoa.
