Guess The Jack-O-Lanterns Girth

Materials needed:

  Pumpkin (large)
  Yarn
     Scissors
    Tape
 Paper (three pieces of 11x3 inch white)

What to Do:

Write the words "too long" on one of the pieces of paper, "too short" on one of the other pieces of paper, and "just right" on the last available piece of paper.

   Invite each child to cut a length of yarn that they think will fit perfectly around the jack-o-lantern.

   Take turns checking each piece of yarn cut to see which catergory it falls into and then tape the results onto the correct paper.

    Mount the results on the wall.
