Our Classroom Summer Book

Our Classroom Summer Book
Materials Needed:
    Metal rings
Photographs of children participating in summer activities
    Hole puncher

What to Do:
Take photographs of each child in your class participating in summer activities such as running through the sprinkler or playing outdoor sports.
Cut cardstock in half and glue one picture to each sheet.
Have each child dictate their favorite summer sport or summer activity and then write the dictation under the picture.
Punch three holes along the side of each page and thread a metal ring through each hole to hold the book together.
Put the book in your class library for the children to read during free reading time.
