Construction paper (red, brown, green, yellow, blue, orange, white, and black)
      Stapler
    Scissors
       Glue
  Pencil

What to Do:
Cut posterboard into strips about 1½ to 2 inches thick to use as a head band.
Trace child’s hand onto red, green, yellow, blue, and orange construction paper and cut out.
  Create and cut out:

- Circles about 4 inches in diameter using the brown construction paper.

- One inch ovals using white construction paper.

- Small circles using black construction paper.

- Wattle shapes using red construction paper.

- Diamond shape using orange construction paper (then fold in half to create beak shape).

  Instruct children to glue:

- Black circles onto the white ovals to create the eyes.

- Finished eyes to the turkey head.
 - Wattle shape to the bottom part of the turkey head.

- Beak shape to the turkey head just above the wattle shape.

Size head band to fit around child’s head and then take it off  holding it in place and then staple it.

Instruct children to glue the "turkey tail feathers" (hand cut outs) to the inside back part of the finished headband fingers pointing up and the turkey head to the front outside part of the head band.
