Fix the Broken Number Heart

Materials Needed:
Heart template
Cardstock (pink/red)
Markers
Scissors

What to Do:
Trace/copy and cut out heart templates onto pink/red cardstock.
Write the numerals 1-10 on one half of each broken heart.
Draw dots/number words on the other half of each broken heart to coorespond with the numeral on the other half.
Cut along jagged line in the middle to create a matching puzzle game.
Invite the children to try and match the numeral to the correct number of dots/correct number word.

* For older children you may want to write number words instead of dots on the hearts.
