Our Classroom Winter Book

Materials Needed:

Cardstock
Markers
Metal rings
Photographs of children participating in winter activities
Glue
Scissors
Hole puncher

What to Do:

Take photographs of each child in your class participating in winter activities such as playing in the snow, building a snowman, or creating holiday art.
Cut cardstock in half and glue one picture to each sheet.
Invite each child to dictate their favorite winter holiday, their favorite winter sport or how to build a snowman and then write their dictation under their picture.
Punch three holes along the side of each page and thread a metal ring through each hole to hold the book together.
Put the book in your class library for the children to read during free reading time.
