Miss and Mr. Manners

Miss and Mr. Manners

Materials Needed:

Placemats
Napkins
Plates
Cups
Forks
Spoons
Knives
Bowls

What to Do:

Teach children how to set a proper place setting and how to use their good manners.
Use some of these reminders for teaching manners: put your napkin on your lap, never talk with food in your mouth, chew with your mouth closed, never stuff your mouth too full, remember your thank you's and please's, never reach over someone else's plate, ask them to please pass the food, when finished, ask to be excused from the table.

Here is a Manners Song you could teach them:

Your fork goes on your left,
Your knife goes on your right,
You eat with your fork,
You cut with your knife,

You pick your napkin up,

From off your little knees,

You wipe your hands,

You wipe your face,

You say excuse me please!
