Dinosaur Egg Relay Race

Materials Needed:
Wooden spoons (2)
Plastic Easter eggs
Dinosaur shoes (previously made in teacher directed art) or large adult work boot
Sand/rice (to add weight to the eggs for younger children)

What to Do:
Divide children into two teams.
Invite children to put on their dinosaur shoes.
Place an egg on each of the wooden spoons.
Instruct children to stomp to designated point and back, balancing the egg on the spoon, and then hand the spoon and egg to the next child.
Play continues in this manner until everyone has had a turn.
