Color Mixing

Materials Needed:

   Painters Palette (plastic ones work well)
      Tempera Paint (many colors)
   Paint brushes or cotton swabs

What to Do:

       Explain to the children how an artist uses his painting palette to combine colors.
   Invite children to take turns coming to the science center to explore with colors.
