Find Your Mittens You Naughty Kittens

Materials Needed:
String
Scissors
Foam Sheets
Glue
Tape
Construction paper (brown)
Marker (black)
Mitten template
Pie template

What to Do:
Using mitten template, trace two mittens onto foam for every child and cut them out.
Using pie template, trace pies onto construction paper (enough so each child participating can get one) and cut out. (To make pies more durable you may want to laminate them.)
Label two mittens with one child’s name and repeat until each child has two mittens.
Attach the two mittens together with a piece of string.
Hang a clothesline (up against a wall is safest).
Hide the mittens around the room and instruct children to find their mittens and then hang them over the line.
As children find their mittens give them a “pie” as a reward.
