Catch the Bugs in the Magnetic Web 

Materials Needed:  

Cookie sheet  

Yarn  

Tape  

Spider  

Bug Ditto Sheet  

Magnets  

Glue

What to Do:  

On the cookie sheet create a web using yarn and tape ends down.  

Tape a spider onto the web.  

Cut out bug cards from the ditto sheet and attach a magnet to the back of each one using either double sided sticky tape or glue.  

After glue has dried have children take turns tossing the bugs onto the web for the spider’s next meal.  Have them name the insects/bugs that they throw at the web.
