Fire Hose

Materials Needed:

Cardboard roll (paper towel or wrapping paper tubes)

Paints (yellow, black, and red)

Streamers (blue and white) Glue, stapler, or tape

What to Do:

Invite children to paint a tube in their choice of color (yellow, black, or red).

When dry, instruct children to attach 8-10’ lengths of blue and white streamers to one end of the tube.

* Adaptations: For younger children, pre-cut the lengths of streamers and for older let them cut their own and choose how many they want. Invite children to count a specific number of streamers to match the number of the week.
