Hopping Down the Story Trail

Materials Needed:

Carrot (plastic, real, or paper laminated)

Paper 

Markers

What to Do:

During circle, teacher holds the carrot and begins a story.

The teacher passes the carrot to a child.

The child makes up the next line in the story and passes the carrot to the next child.

Continue in this manner until everyone has had a chance to add to the story.

The teacher records the story, in writing or with a tape recorder.
