Weaving a Spider’s Web

Weaving a Spider's Web

Materials Needed:

Large paper plates
Hole puncher
Black or orange yarn
Childproof plastic needles (optional)

What to Do:

Using large paper plates, write numbers one through ten (in a random order), around the rim of the plate.
Using a hole puncher, punch holes by each number, using caution not to punch out any part of the number.
Instruct the children weave the yarn through the holes in proper sequence of 1-10.

* Depending on the skill level of children participating, you may want to write numbers one through twenty around the rim of the plate.
