Squirting the Fire

Materials Needed:  

Clear plastic bottles  

Permanent markers (red, orange, yellow)  

Spray bottles

What to Do:  

Color flames onto plastic bottles using permanent markers.  

Fill spray bottles with water.  

Place the “fire bottles” on a ledge, picnic table, etc... If there is not an area to stand the bottles up on you may want to bring a box outside with you.  

Invite the children to take turns trying to put out the fire by using the squirt bottles to try to knock over the “fire bottles”.
