Big Leaves, Little Leaves

Materials Needed:  

Lunch bags  

Leaf patterns  

Construction paper/color copy paper (Fall colors)

What to Do:  

Copy leaf pattern sheet onto constuction paper or color copy paper,  cut out and  laminate for durability.  

Label bags “big” and “little”.  

Instruct children to sort leaves into bags by size.

Variation for older children   

Label bags “large” “medium” and “small”.   

Have children sort by color, size, and/or shape   

Program bags according to desired sorting activity.
