Dowel Board
Materials Needed:
8-10 six inch dowel pieces/rods
Paint stirrer
Markers
Glue
Thimble

What to Do:
Decorate paint stirrer using paint or markers.
Glue dowels side by side onto the flat side of the paint stirrer.
After glue has dried, show the children how to play the instrument by putting the thimble on finger and strumming the dowels.

*If thimble is not available you could use another dowel piece.
