Fishing for Fish Tales

Materials Needed:

Fishing rod (use instructions for fishing rod in camping/teacher directed art)

Marker

Paper

Pen

Fish (with story starters written on them)

What to Do:

Program fish with story starters (i.e. “Once upon a time there was a giant octopus…”, “A little boy thought he was big enough to go camping all by himself….”)

Instruct children to use the fishing rod to fish for a story starter.

Invite children to finish the story.

Record their answers and post in the classroom.
