Handprint Coconut Trees

Materials Needed:

Paint (brown, green, red, yellow, and blue)

Letter sponges

Brushes

White construction paper (12X18)

What to Do:

Provide each child with a sheet of white construction paper. Using brushes, liberally paint each child’s forearm brown and stamp onto the center of the white paper.

Paint each child’s hand green and instruct them to stamp their hand about four times across the top for the leaves.

Provide children with letter stamps and red, yellow, and blue paint and invite them stamp letters around their tree.
