Materials Needed:
Image1 Fingerpaint (red, black, and green)
Image1 Fingerpaint paper

 

What to Do:
Image1 Provide black, red, and green fingerpaint in the art center and invite children to come and create a Kwanzaa masterpiece.
Image1 Explain to the children what the colors of Kwanzaa represent:

- Black represents the color of the people

- Red stands for their struggles

- Green symbolizes their hope
