Baking Soda and Vinegar

Materials Needed:

Cups (enough for each child to have two)
Bowl of baking soda
Squeeze bottle

What to Do:

Give each child two empty cups.
Instruct them to scoop a spoonful of baking soda into their cup, then squirt vinegar on top of the baking soda and observe what happens.
Using the second cup, instruct the children to squirt some vinegar into the cup first, then put a spoonful of baking soda on top of the vinegar and observe what happens.
Ask them which way they think produces the most bubbles.
