Colored Sand Art

Materials Needed:
Construction paper
Glue (small glue bottles seem to be easier for children to manipulate)
Sand (many colors)
Large box lids (i.e. copy paper box lid)
 

What to Do:
Place construction paper into the box lids.
Place the box lids, glue bottles, and colored sand in the art center.
Invite the children to take turns coming to the art center to explore with the materials provided.
