A Stegosaurus Named After Me

Materials Needed:
Cardstock (any color)
Clip clothespins
Marker

Dinosaur template

What to Do:
Trace dinosaur template onto cardstock and cut out (laminate if possible).
Write alphabet letters on the clothespins making sure all children participating can spell their names, for example, you may need several clothespins programmed with the same commonly used letters…t,c,b,d,a,e, etc.. .
Have children spell their name by clipping the clothespins to the stegosaurus’ back. If necessary, provide a sentence strip with the child’s name on it for them to match the letters until they learn all of the letters in their name.
