When It Rains I…
Materials Needed:
Blue paper (cut in the shape of large raindrops)
Book: Come On, Rain by Karen Hesse
Markers/crayons

What to Do:
Ask children to complete the following sentence, “ When it rains, I like to _______.”
Write the childrens' dictations onto the large raindrops and then invite the children  to illustrate the dictation.  Follow up this activity with the book, Come On, Rain by Karen Hesse.
