Fly Like a Plane

Materials Needed:
Posterboards
Scissors
Brass fasteners
Hole puncher
Elastic straps
Paper towel rolls
Orange paint
Paint brushes

What to Do:
Paint paper towel rolls orange and let dry.
Draw a large wing shape onto each of the posterboards. Make enough for half of the class to have two wings each.
Using the brass fasteners,fasten elastic straps to the underside of wings for children to put their arms through.
While half the class is pretending to be planes, provide the other half of the class with the orange paper towel rolls and instruct them to use them has batons to direct the air traffic.
