Panning For Gold

Materials Needed:
Gold colored fish tank pebbles (can spray paint to make gold) or use Fool's gold rocks
Sand sifters
Sand
Water
Sensory table
Shovels

What to Do:
Place either fish tank pebbles (gold) or fool's gold rocks in the sensory table.
Add a layer of sand about an inch thick and then add an inch of water.
Provide the sensory table with sand sifters and shovels.
Invite children to come to the sensory table to pan for gold.
