Rock Drawings

Materials Needed:
Rocks

What to Do:
Instruct children to search the playground for different types of rocks. (If your playground doesn't have many rocks, hide some for the children to find.)
Take children to a nearby sidewalk and demonstrate to them how the rocks will create marks like chalk and then invite them create drawings on the sidewalk.
